THE WEDDING DAY

This is the day we say “I do,” and the celebration begins early with various activities. Transportation to the ceremony will depart from Sommerro hotel at 13:00. The ceremony and welcome will start at 14:00 at Ekebergrestauranten, followed by wedding dinner and an unforgettable party. After the party, a shuttle service will be available from 24:00 until around 03:00 transporting everyone back to Sommerro Hotel.

Formal attire: Gentlemen are requested to wear a black tuxedo or dark suit, and ladies a long dress. Colors are encouraged. Kindly refrain from wearing white dresses.

GOOD MORNING JOG

All participants should meet outside Sommerro’s main entrance at 08:45. The run will start promptly at 09:00 and will return to Sommerro no later than 10:00.

  • Guests who are continuing on to the Museum Tour should make their way there promptly after the run, as the final tour of the morning begins at 10:45.

    You will do a scenic 5 km run through Oslo! We’ll begin and finish at the main entrance of Sommerro. To make the experience extra special, talented running instructors from Barry’s Bootcamp will guide the run and help keep the energy high throughout the route.

PRIVATE TOUR AT THE
NATIONAL MUSEUM OF NORWAY

All participants should meet at 10:00 at the private side entrance of the National Museum. A host will be there to welcome you and assign you to a tour group upon arrival.

  • The guided tours will begin as soon as each group is full, with groups departing one after another. The tour lasts approximately one hour. After the guided portion concludes, you are welcome to stay and explore the museum at your own pace for as long as you wish.

    Please remember that the coaches to the wedding venue depart from Sommerro at 13:00, so be sure to allow enough time to return.

    During the tour, you will be taken on a romantic journey through some of Norway’s most treasured works of art. Discover Edvard Munch and The Scream, explore the enchanting and mystical fairy tale world of Theodor Kittelsen, and enjoy an exclusive guided experience through some of the greatest cultural treasures Norway has to offer.
