TAXIS IN OSLO
While you are in Oslo, we recommend using the Taxifix app to book taxis.
Uber is not commonly used in Norway, so Taxifix is usually the easiest and most reliable option.
NORWEGIAN CUSTOM:
BEING ON TIME
In Norway, being on time is considered a sign of politeness. Even arriving ten minutes late is usually seen as late.
As we have a full wedding weekend planned, the schedule will be followed closely. Buses will depart on time, and activities will begin as scheduled. We kindly ask everyone to be on time and help us keep the weekend running smoothly.

WEDDING DAY
Coaches to the Wedding Venue
Please arrive outside the main entrance of Sommerro by 12:45 PM.
The coaches will be transporting approximately 170 guests and will depart promptly at 1:00 PM.
Outdoor Celebration
We are hoping for beautiful weather and a warm summer evening. However, even after a sunny day,
Norwegian summer nights can become a little chilly. Much of the celebration will take place outdoors,
so we recommend bringing a shawl, light jacket, or another warm layer for the evening.
Blankets will also be available, and of course, dancing is one of the best ways to stay warm!

FLIGHT INFO
Oslo Lufthavn is located in Gardermoen, about a 45-minute drive from the city center.
Address: Edvard Munchs veg, 2061 Gardermoen, Norway
There are direct flights from both London and New York. If you’re flying from the U.S., we recommend arriving on Thursday morning (July 2) to have time to settle in before the wedding weekend.
There is also a direct train from the airport to Oslo, called Flytoget, which is quick and easy to use. If you get off at Nationalteateret, you will be just a 10 minute walk from Sommerro.
